Sad day for us as our beloved cat Kuhmo was run over today 10/14/09. We had him for over 10 years of our 26 years of marriage. We decided not to have children as my wife has had type 1 diabetes now for 52 years.Today we lost a little boy in our hearts and affections. We are sad.

As a little boy growing up in rural Iowa I loved to play with our family of cats and kittens. I treasured the time I spent with them and watching their playful antics. I feel sad that most kids today consider these little creatures of little value in their lives. Young ones spend too much time with gadgets and not with the creation around them.  

I can't write much today but maybe later on. Please treasure all creation around us and know that it means more than we know. When we suddenly lose the company of such ones it breaks our hearts. Love the one your with is a good motto.
